This year, the SLN has been able to carry out its mission in a number of exciting ways.
Our mission is to provide siblings of individuals with disabilities the information, support and tools to advocate with their brothers and sisters and promote issues important to them and their entire families.
During 2014, we grew the sibling network to over 4000 siblings & supporters with 17 state chapters, became an official 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, led webinars, created an Advocacy Toolkit for siblings that includes Sibling Policy Videos and the 2014 Sibling Policy Brief highlighting legislation significant to siblings, and much, much more! We have also been preparing for the 2015 SLN Conference (May 30 &31, 2015 in Louisville, KY!). Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to build relationships within the SLN and learn from each other!
