Get excited for one of the 2015 SLN Conference keynote speakers, Michelle “Sheli” Reynolds. A sibling of a younger brother with developmental disabilities, Sheli brings both personal and professional experience toward family advocacy. She currently serves as the Director of the Missouri Family to Family Health Information Center and is also the co—principal investigator on the National Community of Practice on Supports to Families. She has focused her time and efforts on research and policy for the lifespan of people with disabilities. Sheli’s keynote at the SLN Conference is titled, “Charting Your LifeCourse Towards a Good Life,” which will serve to provide a better understanding of the current services and supports available within the disability service system. It will also highlight the important role that family, including siblings, play in assisting their family members with disabilities throughout the lifespan. You will not want to miss out on this opportunity to learn from Sheli’s insight! Go here for more information on the Conference!
