Disability Policy Seminar 2016

The Sibling Leadership Network (SLN) is proud to have been a promotional partner of the Disability Policy Seminar for the past three years. The SLN believes in the power of siblings advocating with their brothers and sisters to promote issues important to them and their entire families. We encourage siblings and sibling supporters to consider attending future Disability Policy Seminars. This year, the Disability Policy Seminar will be held April 11-13, 2016 at the Renaissance Washington DC Downtown Hotel. A Sibling Meet and Greet will be held on Tuesday morning, April 12th.

The DPS is your best opportunity  to cultivate new champions on Capitol Hill and advance the grassroots movement for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). This unique platform offers you the opportunity to come together with other advocates, individuals with I/DD, experts and professionals in the field and learn about the issues. On the third day of the event, you can take the valuable information covered during the Seminar to Capitol Hill for Hill Visits and speak directly with your representatives about the issues that are important to you.
