📢 Policy & Advocacy Update - January 2025 Happy New Year from the Sibling Leadership Network! 🎉 As we step into 2025, we’re keeping a close eye on key policy changes affecting siblings and the disability community. Wins: The Autism CARES Act was unanimously renewed. Challenges Ahead: The Lifespan Respite Care Reauthorization Act did not pass, but advocacy continues. With the 119th Congress and a new administration settling in, we anticipate executive orders and budget reconciliation efforts that could impact Medicaid funding.
