“It was a time of fellowship, support and learning about topics including an update from our State Dept. of Developmental Disabilities, Medicaid, caregiving, person centered thinking, financial planning, optimizing health care, legislative updates, and the right to technology. In addition, we heard from several siblings about their personal perspective. Blue Spectrum performed and got us on our feet! Filmmaker Brian Donovan shared part of his film, Kelly’s Hollywood. We shared, learned, networked, laughed, and shed some tears. A memorable time with an awesome group!”
The SLN is also proud of our board member, Shea Tanis, the keynote presenter, who emphasized the importance and right of access to technology for people with disabilities.
