The New Jersey Partners in Policymaking program is currently accepting applications. Led by the The Boggs Center on Developmental Disabilities at Rutgers University, the goal of this 8-month leadership development and advocacy education program for adults with developmental disabilities and family members is to prepare the next generation of disability advocates to work toward meaningful change in our state.
The Sibling Leadership Network (SLN) strongly encourages all New Jersey residents who are siblings of people with disabilities to apply for the program. Katie Arnold, Executive Director of the SLN, will be presenting during the program on Sibling Advocacy.
Applications must be received by September 9, 2016, and applicants will be notified of acceptance by September 30. Click here to learn more about the program. Click here to apply.
