Three siblings, Sandra Tucker (Executive Director of Sibling Tree and SLN Treasurer), Emma Shouse Garton (Director of Communications, TN Council on Developmental Disabilities and SLN Chapter Rep for Tennessee Adult Brothers and Sisters), and Kaley Day, (Advocacy for Adults, Advocacy Denver) presented to an engaged crowd at the Arc’s National Convention. Their session “How to Support Siblings in Your Community” provided resources for siblings, shared the benefits of creating sibling support programs, and discussed the importance of siblings’ roles in strategic planning.
