Research Participation Opportunity: Sibling Experiences with Transition Planning

Recruitment flyer text in post
Are you the sibling of an individual with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD)? Is your sibling between the ages of 14 and 22?
If so, we are interested in hearing your experiences with transition planning. A graduate student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is conducting a study about sibling involvement, barriers, and facilitators in regard to transition planning. You qualify for this study if:

  • You are 18 years of age or older
  • You are the sibling of a transition-aged individual (i.e. between the ages of 14 and 22) with IDD
  • You are willing to participate in a demographics survey and interview lasting 1 to 1.5 hours
  • You currently reside in the United States
