A new video from The Arc of the United States highlights why paid leave is a vital tool for families, including siblings, and people with disabilities. At some point almost everyone will need to take time off of work to care for themselves or a family member. But while the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) provides up to 12 weeks of unpaid leave for eligible workers, most families cannot afford to take time without pay – and it doesn’t include siblings.
