Announcing the Fox Valley Sibling Support Network’s 2nd Annual Sibling
Conference!
This year’s conference is hosted by the Fox Valley Sibling Support
Network and NAMI- Fox Valley. Our new 2-day conference is for adults
who have siblings with disabilities, highlighting the needs and
interests of people who have siblings with mental illness. There
will also be special sessions and networking opportunities for
grandparents of children with special needs and a training program for
professionals and volunteers interested in facilitating future
workshops for children who have siblings with disabilities.
Fox Valley Sibling Support Network (FVSSN) was established in 1998 to
focus on the issues faced by individuals who have brothers and sisters
with disabilities or long-term illnesses. The mission of FVSSN is to
create the opportunity for individuals who have brothers and sisters
with special needs to understand, accept and thrive in their unique
family and in the community.
