Family Sibday is an annual event that is dedicated to and celebrates brothers and sisters of children with a range of special needs and their families. It is the mission of Family Sibday to bring together families of children with special needs and their siblings to meet new families, connect, network, learn, and most importantly, have fun! Sibshops for children ages 5-18 are offered as well as Parent/Caregiver sessions.
Family Sibday is the result of a joint effort of several agencies sponsoring or supporting Sibshops: Jewish Child & Family Services, Advocate Illinois Masonic Pediatric Developmental Center, Supporting Illinois Brothers and Sisters (SIBS), Community Support Services, Advocate Lutheran General Children’s Hospital, Ray Graham Association, Gateway Special Recreation, and Funtastic Gymnastic Therapy.
