The SLN is looking for creative and energized individuals who would like to help shape the next SLN National Conference. The conference will be held from May 30-31, 2015 in Louisville, KY. We are excited to again partner with AAIDD (American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) and hold our SLN Conference in conjunction with AAIDD. At the conference, you will have the opportunity to hear from national experts on the latest in sibling services and supports, learn about new research initiatives, and participate in sibling and disability advocacy efforts. Right now, though, you also have the opportunity to be a part of the planning team for the SLN Conference!
The SLN’s Conference Planning Committee will be comprised of about 10 people, and will meet by conference call on a monthly basis up until the conference. We are especially looking for folks that live in the Louisville area!
Our first meeting will be in August, time and day TBD.
