News: ABLE Accounts Make Debut

Great news for the disability community: ABLE accounts are beginning to launch. The ABLE Act, which stands for Achieving a Better Life Experience Act, allows people with disabilities to open special accounts that give them the chance to save money while still maintaining government benefits. According to Disability Scoop, “Ohio is first to unveil its ABLE program, [but[ the state is not expected to be the lone player for long.” Stay tuned as more states come on board. Learn more about the launch of ABLE accounts.
