A new research brief published by the Family Support Research and Training Center at the UIC Institute on Disability and Human Development highlights the sibling role in long-term care for their family member with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The brief, entitled “Sibling Caregivers Experience Less Choice and Control,” examines how siblings perceive their ability to have choice and control over the services used by their family members.
