This October, the Sibling Leadership Network is honoring National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM). According to the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), “the purpose of National Disability Employment Awareness Month is to educate about disability employment issues and celebrate the many and varied contributions of America’s workers with disabilities.”
The Sibling Leadership Network encourages employers in all industries to take part in NDEAM. Siblings can play a key role in supporting our brothers and sisters with disabilities to search and apply for jobs. To learn more about NDEAM, visit DOL’s resource and information site: National Disability Employment Awareness Month 2017.
