The SLN is honored to be a member of the State of the States (SoS) in IDD Advisory Committee. The SoS is a Longitudinal Data Collection Project of National Significance that collects data from states and reports revenue, spending and programmatic trends by state and across the U.S.
You can access the data and information at www.stateofthestates.org and review what your state is doing, compare your state to nearby states as well as see how your state is doing nationally. This information is used by states and agencies providing services and supports to people with IDD to plan their future efforts and develop budgets. The information is also useful for advocates, providing statistics that are useful when talking with your legislators. Take time to check this website out and learn about the trends in our state.
