We are pleased to announce a Sibling Multicultural Roundtable Discussion Featuring a Panel of Siblings of People with Disabilities in Chicago, IL.
The purpose of this event is to bring together siblings of people with disabilities from diverse backgrounds and provide a space to have an open discussion about various parts of their identity. This Multicultural Roundtable will be an opportunity for siblings to talk about how their backgrounds have effected their sibling experience and world view. The panel will consist of siblings of people with disabilities from diverse backgrounds who will discuss their own experiences and take questions and comments from the audience.
We realize that not everyone can attend this event in Chicago but we will be videotaping the panel discussion to later share with SLN chapters so they can replicate this roundtable discussion in their own states.
