Register now for the next Self Advocacy Conference hosted by Self Advocates Becoming Empowered (SABE), taking place from June 7-9, 2018 in Birmingham Alabama.
SLN’s Executive Director, Katie Arnold, attend a previous SABE conference with her sister, Patrice. Throughout their time together, Patrice made new friends and learned more about how to self-advocate. Katie learned a lot from other people with disabilities at the conference about how to support her sister to self-advocate. Overall, this conference strengthened their sibling relationship.
