In our continued work to be racially and economically inclusive, the Sibling Leadership Network (SLN) has created the Equity & Inclusion Scholarship Fund to provide financial support for attendance at the SLN Conference and other SLN events.
We take inclusion for all seriously. Building a truly inclusive sibling community is a priority for the SLN.  This means creating a safe space where siblings who are Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color, and siblings from other traditionally marginalized, underrepresented communities can join together to share stories, learn about resources, and receive information, validation and support. We want to remove financial barriers for participation and engagement in the Sibling Leadership Network. We hope this Scholarship Fund will help continue our efforts to increase diversity and inclusion within our organization.  We encourage people who identify as Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color (BIPOC), and individuals from other historically marginalized, traditionally underrepresented communities to apply.
Applications for the SLN Equity & Inclusion Scholarship Fund will open in early April along with registration for the 2021 National SLN Conference being held virtually June 18th  & 19th.  Financial scholarships cover attendance, which includes registration fees and conference sessions. Learn how to apply HERE.
At this time, we are seeking donations to the Scholarship Fund.  Please help us build a truly inclusive sibling community and ensure that all siblings of people with disabilities have equal access to information, resources and support.  Your donations are tax deductible.  To contribute to the SLN Scholarship Fund, please fill out the form below.
