Stories help elected officials understand the first hand experiences of their community members. Some examples of information that may be helpful to share include: experiences with HCBS provider shortages, difficulties with access due to waitlists in your local area, stories from front line staff or other HCBS providers regarding cost of living or other reimbursement barriers.
We encourage all outreach efforts but particularly there is a need for residents in Arizona, Georgia, Virginia, and West Virginia to contact their elected officials or reach out to SLN directly at policy.inquiries@siblingleadership.org.
