Donate to the SLN and get a $300 or $600 tax deduction this year only!
This year the IRS has a special rule that allows most people to get a tax deduction of up to $300 per individual and $600 for couples for gifts to charity. It provides a tax deduction that is not usually available to about 90% of tax filers. The Sibling Leadership Network is a qualified charity listed on the IRS’s site. You can donate up to $300 or $600 to the SLN and have it reduce your taxable amount this year when you file your taxes. You can get this deduction without having to itemize. This is due to a special provision that the IRS passed as a result of the pandemic and seeing a need for more support for charities in the current economic environment. Be sure to take advantage of this special rule this year and donate by Dec. 31st. For more information on the rule, visit the IRS site.
