SLN is seeking a leader on the SLN Board of Directors. Our SLN Board is composed of a dedicated group of volunteers from across the country. We welcome siblings and sibling supporters to help us chart the future of the organization. The SLN is accepting nominations for Co-Chair of Chapter Development of the SLN Board. A description is below.
The Co-Chairs of Chapter Development are responsible for guiding chapter development and growing the network. Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing chapter growth by providing quarterly chapter meetings to support chapter representatives and providing technical assistance to individual chapters as needed;
- Supporting the growth of new chapters through meetings, trainings, and resources
This role is a Board of Directors position for the Sibling Leadership Network. Please note that in addition to the quarterly evening meetings that the Chapter Development Co-chairs facilitate, all SLN Board members attend 1-hour Board Zoom meetings quarterly, typically on Fridays. This information will then be compiled into a slate of nominees and sent out to the SLN Board of Directors (BOD) to vote.
The position will begin on May 1 and the first Board meeting will occur on May 12.
