The SLN is committed to the issues of diversity and social justice. We recognize a need to devote energy and action toward these critical issues and therefore we are creating a Diversity and Social Justice Committee. We welcome all who are interested in joining this committee. It is important that our committee has a good representation of the diverse siblings across the nation. Being a member of this committee will provide members with an opportunity to help our organization develop a greater understanding of the issues of diversity and social justice, increase inclusivity to all siblings, and develop an action plan to increase our membership’s diversity.
This group will meet approximately 6 times per year via conference calls. These calls are likely to occur in the evening, based on the needs of the group. We are seeking both members of the committee and co-chairs to lead the committee.

I’m glad to help and depending on if the goals of the committee are in line with my experience, I’d be glad to play a leadership role if appropriate.
