The Sibling Support Project has announced their upcoming sibling workshops and Sibshop Facilitator Trainings, to be held around the United States and internationally.
About the Presenter: Don Meyer is the director of the Kindering Center’s Sibling Support Project. Don is probably best known for creating Sibshops, lively programs just for young brothers and sisters of kids with special needs. Currently, there are over 400 Sibshops in eight countries. Don also created SibTeenSib20, and SibNet–online communities that provide thousands of siblings from around the world with opportunities to connect with their peers. Among his seven books include Views from Our Shoes, The Sibling Survival Guide, and Sibshops: Workshops for siblings of children with special needs. He has presented on sibling issues in every state, most Canadian provinces, and in eleven countries.
