AS vital as empowering people with disabilities to convey their needs and concerns to health care providers, is a targeted effort to encourage additional qualified health care providers, doctors and dentists to learn about the special needs population in ways that encourage them to take on such patients. We need more Dentists, for example, who are top flight and willing to serve this community. What kind of plan exists to train in-coming doctors, dentists, and health care workers in dealing with Special Needs individuals, and especially, an aging population in this category?
