Resource Spotlight: A Curriculum for Self Advocates

News, Resources, Self-Advocacy

From Autism NOW, the National Autism Resource and Information Center, and the Autistic Self Advocacy Network, this week’s featured resource is the Self-Advocacy Curriculum.

This curriculum is designed to help individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities learn more about the self-advocacy movement, celebrate neurodiversity, cultivate local self-advocacy groups, and ultimately, become and remain empowered through self-advocacy. It’s a great tool that also includes insightful definitions and guidelines on how to start local self-advocacy groups.

Access the Self-Advocacy Curriculum here.
